6/23/22 AND 6/24/22
I'll start with 6/23 first.
Started writing at 10:33pm
So uh, sorry for forgetting to write a blog yesterday, it's kind of my fault since I was very much caught up in doing things. But in all honesty, the 23rd wasn't really the most active day I had, so it shouldn't be that long of a blog for it.
First off, Terraria Calamity 1.4 came out! I was pretty damn excited and that was pretty much what took up most of the first half of my day. Unfortunately I don't really have any good screenshots to prove of it's existence since the world got corrupted a few hours after I stopped playing, but I do at least have this one picture of my hiding in the crimson.
My mom's boyfriend also came over today and took my brother to the DMV to get his learner's permit renewed, and by the looks of it it went pretty smoothly. My bother also got his first car on saturday, and hopefully I'll get my first car either later this year or sometime next year. He really loves his new car, and I honestly can't blame him for it. Cars are pretty cool, after all.
Besides that, I pretty much spent the rest of the day playing PVZ2 Grind Thousand and also reading up on some godot tutorials. I got a good recommendation for a series of videos from my friend Mad Jinjo, and so far they've taught me a fair few things about functions and other godot shenanigans I never really knew. Here's the series if you wanna watch it yourself, I'd recommend it if you're really just getting into coding.
Oh yeah just a quick update on my aunt, she's alright now. The doctors ruled out everything major, and she's up and walkin.
6/24/22
The major thing today was that it was my aunt's birthday! I made her a nice card and wrapped up some presents my mom got her and we all went to Aki dinner along with both my cousins. I got some nice shrimp n rice habachi with an eel roll (the main thing that I like about the eel roll was that it had crunchy things on top, I REALLY like the crunchy things).
After we all went to Aki we went back to my Aunt's house and chilled for a bit, we also had some really nice strawberry cupcakes that my mom made, cream cheese icing as well.
Oh yeah at my aunt's house I also did the cinnamon challenge 3 years late; it really felt like my mouth was on fire + i wanted to throw up everything everywhere but I powered through! I was hackin and wheezin for a bit though.
The final thing I've really done today was try and make a quick 2d test game in Godot to put my knowledge to the test, aparrently it's a lot harder than I thought. Like, how the hell do I even get key inputs in the thing?!
I was able to import a sprite and get some next print text running, so I would at least call that a sucess for now.
Well I guess that'll be all for tonight, to end off this duo blog I got a picture of my cat Moose all cuddled up in my blanket at around 3am. Isn't he quite snug?
